Mar. 7th, 2007 08:16 pmThe crush thing has me amused- or at least distracted. 6 crushes, 3 of them anonymous. 2 of them are current or former lovers. The other being someone I knew had the hots for me anyway. Nothing significant there. What has me intrigued is the one anonymous message with any substance.
"Yeah here and there. Have a thing for men who would look right in smoking jackets. Yes thats a compliment in all directions."
The phrasing is interesting. "would look right." This imples that whoever left said comment hasn't seen in my smoking jacket- which saddly no longer fits is torn and has been in my trunk for far too long. That would mean that it would some one relatively new... or at least someone newer than three years.
oh well point being, whoever it is was right, and I should hunt down a new smoking jacket.

Trivia was a blast. The crew at Bassono's was extra nice, fed me when I came in, fed me as I left, and tipped me ten bucks. The crowd was mostly parents and kids. So the game was cout to three rounds as by round three there were only two teams playing.
Honestly I could not love it more. I'd ask how often do I get the chance to do something I love for money, and if you are paying attention you'd say no fewer than twice a year, and be forced to agree.
Nevertheless, a resturant full of people all paying attention to me for $25 an hour plus whatever the management throws at me. Yeah it currently it does not suck to be me.
