Amanda's mom is in town. We picked her up yesterday morning and immediately gave her the driving tour of Buckhead. She wanted to stop by Ulta(sp?) for some make up she was raving about. As we walked out of the store I looked up, and read aloud "Special Occasion Dresses." Now I knew full and well that Sue wanted Amanda to go to bridal stores and try on dresses as sort of a mother-daughter bonding thing. I was also well aware that I didn't want to be there when this happened. I failed to make it to the Toys R Us in time.

At any rate she tried on two dresses. The second she fell completely in love with. Being a heterosexual male who doesn't care that much for women's couture I'm going to completely fail to describe them. They were white and fairly traditional, which is a departure from what I thought she wanted. We had talked about a Scottish garb-like wedding. I am even more greatly relieved to say I wasn't there when she did, because as absolutly stunning as she was I still don't want to see what she's wearing till the day of. Call me superstitious.

Okay back to the guy thing. She's thinking traditional tweeked, which gives me some room to manuever and gives me a lot of options.
Something like these...
